BC Parks is undertaking an exciting new project on Mitlenatch: a trail camera! Set up in the meadows a few meters north of the trail leading to bird hide, the camera faces Northwest Bay and captures the meadows themselves. The aim is to capture the succession of the vegetation through the season. The camera is not motion triggered, but is set to capture a series of images at a given time in the morning. BC Parks would like the camera to stay at this location, and invites anyone with questions to be in touch.
